  Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling

  I grew up reading these novels and I could never put them down, it got so bad that I used to read them in the car and before bed, and watch every single movie! I still have my Gryffindor scarf and golden snitch pin in my room to this day.

  Percy Jackson Series by Rick Riordan

  Percy Jackson is an inspirational and fun series from my childhood -- it was all I used to read during middle school and its new sequels and spinoffs are still lovely to read.

  The Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson

  My current epic fantasy of choice -- Brandon Sanderson is a world building genius and his world of Roshar is absolutely magical.

  The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare

  A thrilling urban fantasy that takes you into the hidden world of Shadowhunters, who fight demons and dark creatures. Yet, another series I loved in high school.

  The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss

  Another fantasy epic! I still havent read the second book, but I read the first one from start to finish in the span of a few days.

  Mistborn Trilogy by Brandon Sanderson

  Another Brandon Sanderson novel, with a unique magic system -- set in a world where metallurgy reigns supreme.
